Nevertheless, as with any cosmetic treatment, Botox® Cosmetic does carry the potential for side effects, though they are typically mild and temporary. Common side effects include:swelling or bruising at the injection site, headaches, flu-like symptoms and temporary facial weakness or drooping.

Aftercare Regimen
